</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #e06666;">(How Me and Him Became Us):</span> My fiancé and I met almost five years ago (July 2005) through a mutual friend that I worked with, and his best friend was dating. We were both incredibly into each other; we started dating immediately and then fell in love real fast. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #e06666;">(Why We Work):</span> We really needed each other, our relationship could not of formed at a better time. I was leaving for my first year of college, and he was really focusing where he was heading in life. At the time both of our emotions were running in the same direction, my parents were going through a divorce, and Jeff was grieving over the loss of his only nephew, who passed as baby. But these were the things that test a relationship, and even with a few bumps in the road early on we passed the test. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #e06666;">(Why We Continue to Work):</span> We are best friends, soul mates, and all that other sappy stuff. The one thing I know is that I want him by my side. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #e06666;">(How He Proposed):</span> I was 20, it was my birthday, for some reason I knew it was coming. I came downstairs, roses everywhere, he handed me a card, inside there was a letter, I read the letter, he got on one knee, he had no ring, he asked, I said yes, he said “you hate everything I pick out for you, so I want you to pick out the ring.” We laughed, got in the car, drove to the jeweler, he bought a ring, I now where it on my finger. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><span style="color: #e06666;">(The Wedding Plan):</span> We originally were going to wait a year and a half. Then we decided to wait till I finish school, but I obtained new goals for pursuing my degree. So now three years later were getting married. </span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="background-color: white; color: #741b47; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">The Big Day: 10.23.10</span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="background-color: #f3f3f3; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"></span></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />

I mean I read blogs and all, but I never thought I would be blogging. Why you ask?<br />
<br />
Well I’m 23, living in a suburb of Chicago…. and I’m getting <span style="color: #ff6666;">MARRIED</span>!!! (oooh, how I love sayin’ that) The thing is I’ve basically had a pretty hard time with the whole planning ordeal. The big day is 1 day shy of 5 months away and truthfully I have the bare minimum done. It’s a bit disappointing since this is something I’ve always dreamed of doing, and have been very excited to do. I have been extremely busy and stressed, working my full-time job, and full-time school. But I’m ready, I’m going to pack 12 months of planning excitement into these last five months….and I’m going to be organized about it. (something I’m not too good at!)</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">So as the title says…”I’m blogging my way to the altar” and that means I’m looking for tons of ideas, help and advice.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">……and soon enough I’ll fill you in on all the juicy details about my hubby to be!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
</span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;">But for now I will leave you with this.. <span style="color: #ffcc00;">“It is at the edge of a petal that love waits.” </span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", sans-serif;"><br />
